Job summary

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking a Specialty Cook II - Sushi to join our culinary team. Under the supervision of the Sous Chef, you will help prepare and present sushi dishes, maintain quality, and ensure sanitation standards.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in a high‑volume kitchen, flexibility across kitchen stations, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Experience with sushi preparation is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
• Duties include maintaining quality, portion control, and sanitation.
• Ability to work across kitchen areas and assist line staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sous Chef and Cook in quality and portion control of products.
• Prepare production in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain proper labeling, rotation, storage temperature, and environment.
