Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a sushi team member to greet customers, prepare and price seafood products, and maintain fresh, high-quality displays. The role requires basic knife skills, sanitation knowledge, and the ability to follow recipes for sushi items.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with department-specific safety guidelines, while collaborating with the team to ensure excellent service and product quality.

Qualifications

• High school / Secondary school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery.
• Possesses a food handling license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within ten feet and four seconds of contact.
• Readily services customer orders, weighs out and prices products for customers.
• Pulls items to be cut and prepped for the day from the freezer.
• Cuts filets, chunks, and cubes per company standards.
• Trays, wraps, and prices products per company standards.
• Stocks and rotates sushi items, to maintain freshness and quality, removes damaged items from sushi floor.
• Prepares sushi and other sushi products from recipes.
• Completes basic cleaning of department, by washing and sanitizing work tools and area.
• Keeps sushi chill organized and clean, bale boxes.
• Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager.
