Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital Seafood Department is seeking a part-time Seafood Clerk to prepare and display quality seafood products while delivering standard customer service.

You will greet customers, weigh and price items, and maintain fresh seafood displays in a fast-paced grocery environment. Experience with knives and seafood prep is beneficial; a food handling license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a food handling license.
• Age 18 or older to operate machinery.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with seafood orders.
• Readily service orders, weigh, and price products.
• Pull items to be cut and prepped for the day from the freezer.
• Tray, wrap, and price products per company standards.
• Stock and rotate seafood items; maintain freshness and quality.
• Prepare sushi if assigned to the sushi counter.
• Display merchandise per schematic.
• Assist in prepping poke and other seafood products from recipes.
• Clean department and sanitize tools and area.
• Follow proper safety procedures; work in a fast-paced environment.
