Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a part-time Sushi Associate to prepare quality sushi products and provide standard customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be at least 18, and hold a food handling license; experience with knives and seafood is preferred. You’ll work under a Sushi Lead, rotating stock and maintaining cleanliness in the sushi area.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery.
• Possesses a food handling license.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact.
• Readily services customers’ orders, prices products for customers.
• Pulls items to be cut and prepped for the day from the freezer and chill areas.
• Trays, wraps, and prices products per company standards.
• Stocks and rotates sushi items, to maintain freshness and quality, remove damaged items from seafood floor.
• Displays merchandise on showcase per schematic.
• Prepares sushi and other sushi products from recipes.
• Completes basic cleaning of department, by washing and sanitizing work tools and area.
• Keeps Sushi chill organized and clean, bale boxes.
• Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager.
