Job summary

Sushi Roku Pasadena is hiring Line Cooks to join a high-energy kitchen within the Innovative Dining Group. You’ll plate dishes, prep ingredients, and support station duties, ensuring quality and efficiency during peak service.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in a high-end, high-volume restaurant, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work varied shifts. A valid Food Handler Card is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the restaurant's food offerings and beverage program.
• Follow portion sizes, recipe specs, cooking methods and standards.
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and other items using various equipment.
• Plate items with proper garnishes and presentation.
• Keep line stocked and maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.
• Open/close station and manage side work duties.
