Qualifications

• Experience as Sushi Chef or similar culinary role preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards precisely
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with quality and sanitation
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and related items per recipes and standards
• Follow allergy procedures and prevent cross-contamination
• Ensure freshness, proper storage, labeling, rotation, and safe handling
• Lift and move kitchen equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in sushi bar and prep areas
• Adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen, leadership, and front-of-house teams for timely service
• Assist with daily prep lists, inventory counts, and stocking of ingredients
• Provide friendly, professional guest interactions and hospitality in guest areas
