Job summary

Blue Sushi Saki Grill in Surprise is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards and set up stations with necessary supplies for the shift.

We value teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen and provide comprehensive training. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required, and full-time employees are eligible for our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Excellent communication skills; able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, and walk throughout the workday; comfortable with physical tasks.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on occasion; maintain food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations for the shift; ensure items are available for efficient cooking.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards including handling and storage.
• Assist in inventory management and rotating stock; notify management of low items.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; ensure areas are sanitary at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
