Job summary

Flagship Restaurant Group is seeking a Sushi Chef to prepare sushi and related items, following recipes and presentation standards. You will ensure freshness, proper storage, labeling, and safe handling while maintaining high quality and sanitation throughout the shift.

Applicants should have strong communication skills and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. Experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow recipes instructions and food safety standards accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality, consistency, cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and related menu items according to recipes, presentation standards and specifications.
• Follow allergy precaution procedures carefully, including preventing cross contamination and handling guest allergy requests with accuracy.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, labeled, rotated, handled safely and prepared with attention to quality and detail.
