Job summary

OMAKAI is a traditional sushi restaurant expanding across South Florida. We are seeking Sushi Chefs at every level, from roll and sashimi to nigiri, with multiple stations and clear paths to advancement. Qualifications

• One year of restaurant experience is required for Chef B, and two or more years for our senior stations (Chef A).
• Japanese cuisine knowledge is welcome but not required.
• SafeServe, allergy compliance, and sexual harassment prevention certifications are required and can be obtained during training.

Responsibilities

• Slice and plate sashimi to standard with proper fish handling.
• Prepare roll station mise en place and execute hand rolls and cuts accurately.
• Plating with sauces and final presentation, ensuring consistency during rushes.
