Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Survey Manager to lead survey operations, manage multiple projects, and mentor staff in a dynamic CA-based practice. You will oversee schedules, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong background in geomatics, civil engineering, and extensive field-to-office coordination, with 3+ days in the office and travel to various sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of surveying experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage survey projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor survey staff, providing technical guidance and development.
• Review and approve survey deliverables including boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions.
