BKF Engineers seeks a Project Operations Manager to lead administrative and operational functions for the Survey project delivery team. You will drive schedules, financial performance, and process improvements across multiple projects and disciplines.

Responsibilities include managing project setup, workflows, contracts, and staffing coordination, while ensuring compliance and high-quality client work. Strong Excel, financial acumen, and leadership are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight or more years of experience in project operations or business operations in engineering, surveying, construction, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of project financials, billing practices, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative operations for assigned project teams, ensuring consistent execution of company standards.
• Manage project setup, documentation, filing systems, and closeout processes.
• Coordinate internal workflows among project managers, survey crews, engineers, accounting, and administrative staff.
• Partner with Project Managers to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Oversee billing processes (green book review) and track contract values and change orders.
• Monitor accounts receivable, support collections efforts, and help maintain healthy cash flow.
