Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Survey Manager to join our team in California. This role focuses on managing survey operations, leading project teams, overseeing delivery, and ensuring quality standards are met.

The Survey Manager will mentor staff, support client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our survey practice while coordinating field and office activities, budgets, and schedules across BKF offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of surveying experience with increasing responsibility.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage survey projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor survey staff with technical guidance and development.
• Review and approve boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Coordinate field and office survey activities to meet objectives and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development.
