BKF Engineers seeks an experienced Surveying Manager to lead survey project delivery for public agencies, provide technical oversight, mentor staff, ensure quality standards, and support client coordination.

The role also contributes to business development through proposal support and identification of new project opportunities. Strong CAD and field data processing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• PLS is required.
• Experience with surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficient in CAD software, especially Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Construction staking experience and reading plans.
• Experience processing laser scanning data and 3D modeling is a plus.
• Willing to travel to BKF offices and job sites.

Responsabilités

• Review subdivision maps and private development applications.
• Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
• Post-process field data from total station, GPS, levels, 3D scanners, and UAS.
• Create mapping deliverables including ALTA and topographic surveys.
• Prepare construction staking calculations from plans and CAD.
• Travel to various job sites and BKF offices.
