Job summary

AdventHealth in La Grange, IL is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the operating room team. You will anticipate surgeon needs, assemble supplies, maintain aseptic technique, and assist with efficient room turnover.

This full-time role requires the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and adhere to infection-control policies. The position offers a Day shift with 6am–4:30pm or 6am–2:30pm hours, and a sign-on bonus up to $3,000.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed throughout a procedure.
• Maintains high standards and quality in facilitating cost savings and containment.
• Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
• Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains good relationships with physicians and staff; responds to complaints promptly.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects breaks in technique.
