Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Surgical Assistant for PRN shifts. You will assist surgeons during operations, provide pre/post-operative patient care, and help prepare sterile equipment and supplies for procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, coordinating with the RN and anesthesia team, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period. Prior surgical technology experience and BLS certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ experience.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operations and provide pre/post-operative patient care.
• Prepare and set up instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety.
• Communicate with nurses and anesthesia team.
