Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during operations and provide pre- and post-operative patient care. The role involves setting up instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and coordinating with the nursing and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.

The ideal candidate will have an Accredited Surgical Technology program, BLS certification within 6 months, and 1–2 years of orthopedic experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or combination of equivalent on-the-job- training and orthopedic surgery experience.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year orthopedic experience required; 2 years of orthopedic experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist surgeons during operations and procedures under supervision of licensed staff.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care and related non-professional services.
• Set up materials and equipment for procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Circulate under the direction of a Registered Nurse and coordinate with anesthesia team.
• Prepare and label specimens and ensure accurate documentation.
