Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire (AHA) required

Responsibilities

• Maintains aseptic technique to keep a sterile environment
• Organizes and coordinates supplies and equipment for the department
• Communicates with nursing staff and serves as liaison between units
• Documents patient data and coordinates tests and appointments
• Prepares patients for transport and assists with room turnover
