Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and Surgical Technology education or completion certificate.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Ability to scrub basic surgical procedures and maintain sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment; demonstrates asepsis while assisting in procedures.
• Coordinates supplies/equipment to keep department efficient and cost-effective.
• Facilitates communication between unit staff and nursing; coordinates tests and charts.
