Job summary

Qualifications

• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a sterile environment with asepsis and patient safety.
• Organizes supplies and equipment for an efficient department.
• Facilitates communication with nursing staff and other units.
• Collects data and documents patient information per standards.
• Transcribes orders and schedules tests and exams.
• Prepares patients for transport and assists with ADLs.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR team to ready trays.
