Job summary

Qualifications

• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology.
• Basic familiarity with electronics, computers, robotics and lasers in the perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Applies asepsis to maintain a sterile environment and performs basic psychomotor tasks.
• Assists in organizing supplies and equipment to support a cost-effective department.
• Facilitates clear communication between units and nursing staff as a liaison.
• Transcribes orders, schedules tests, and maintains patient charts as directed.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR team to ensure trays and instruments are ready.
