Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and asepsis during procedures.
• Coordinates supplies and equipment for efficiency and cost control.
• Facilitates communication with nursing staff and other departments.
• Documents patient information and orders accurately and promptly.
• Prepares patients for procedures and transports as needed.
• Assists with room turnover and instrument sterilization.
