Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technician (Scrub Tech) to support operating room readiness, verify equipment functionality, and assist the surgical team during procedures.

The ideal candidate will have NBSTSA CST, current BLS, and 3–5 years of surgical tech experience, including military site work. Proficiency with EMR and MS Office is expected; must be a US citizen or eligible for security clearance and willing to relocate to Iraq.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician with NBSTSA CST credential.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of recent Surgical Technician experience, including military site work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and ensure safety during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control standards.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during operations.
• Monitor patient status and alert team to changes.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment per protocols.
• Support postoperative care and transfers to recovery.
• Document procedures and track supplies used.
• Comply with safety rules and participate in exercises.
• Complete client-required compliance education.
