Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technician (Scrub Tech) to support surgical procedures. You will prepare the OR, ensure equipment functions, and assist the team throughout operations.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with a focus on patient care in challenging environments. The role requires CST certification, BLS, and 3–5 years of experience, including familiarity with EMR and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) per NBSTSA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3–5 years recent Surgical Technician experience; 6 months in past year.
• Proficient with MS Office and EMR.
• Experience on a military site as government subcontractor/prime preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room, assemble instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and safety during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field; ensure infection control compliance.
• Pass instruments to surgeon during operations.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to team.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment per protocol.
• Assist with post-operative care and transfers to recovery.
• Document procedures and keep accurate supply records.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations.
