Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology training.
• Certification in Surgical Technology preferred/required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire - AHA.

Responsibilities

• Maintains aseptic technique to keep a sterile environment.
• Assists with supplies and equipment organization for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Facilitates communication across departments; acts as a liaison between units.
• Collects patient data as directed and documents in patient records.
• Transcribes orders accurately and schedules tests and appointments.
