Atlantic Health in Pompton Plains, NJ seeks a qualified Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room and maternity unit. You will scrub, maintain sterile technique, assist in instrument handling, and support patient care under RN supervision.

Duties include preparing rooms, assisting with ADLs, and facilitating transfers to recovery. The role requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program, 3–5 years of hospital scrub tech experience, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrub Tech in a Hospital Setting.
• BLS required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain sterile field and assist surgical team.
• Prepare instruments and assist with counts.
• Assist in ADLs, basic patient care and mobility.
• Transfer patients to recovery and support post‑op care.
• Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy and glucose monitoring.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
