Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Minimum one year of ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
• Valid BCLS certification upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operative suite and gather supplies for scheduled cases.
• Maintain sterile technique and complete instrument counts.
• Assist with patient positioning and surgical draping.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are functioning before, during, and after cases.
• Aid in room turnover and environmental cleaning between procedures.
• Adhere to HIPAA, conduct, and procedural standards.
• Observe and report breaks in sterile technique to the surgeon and RN.
• Assist with specimen handling and C-ARM operation as needed.
