Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room teams in Georgia. The role supports surgeons, nurses, and techs during procedures with a focus on sterile technique and patient care.

The position includes a 3 day, 12-hour per week shift with days that vary. Ideal candidates have an accredited surgical technologist education, ortho experience, CPR certification, and may have certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certification preferred; CPR certification required with 0-2 years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up instruments and sterile supplies before operations.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with gowns, gloves, and instrument passing.
• Help transfer patients to the operating room and assist continuity of care.

Skills

Orthopaedic experience

CPR certified

Certification preferred

Education
