Job summary

Georgia Urology is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist with safe, effective clinical care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will scrub for procedures, prepare the operative suite, and help maintain sterile technique and instrument counts to support patient safety.

The role requires knowledge of sterile technique, instrument handling, and ability to assist with patient positioning, draping, and turnover between cases, in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required.
• One year experience in Ambulatory Surgical Center preferred.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operative suite with supplies, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintain sterile techniques and instrument counts.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and skin prep.
• Support turnover of OR and prepare room for next cases.
• Adhere to Georgia Urology's Code of Conduct and HIPAA requirements.
