Job summary

Northwest ENT and Allergy Center in Georgia is seeking a Surgical Technician to support surgeons during operative procedures and ensure the operating room is prepared and sterile. You will handle instrument counts, sterilization, and aseptic techniques to protect patient safety.

The role requires OR tech certification, BCLS, and at least one year of OR experience within a fast-paced environment. Join a team focused on delivering high-quality ENT care and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Operating Room Technician Certification required.
• Current BCLS Certification required.
• Minimum of one year of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain a sterile instrument table and ensure efficient setup.
• Assist surgeons intraoperatively and anticipate their needs.
• Complete operating room counts accurately and report discrepancies.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments per protocol.
• Follow aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor inventory levels of instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
