Job summary

Surgical Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Texas. The role supports surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff by preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and helping maintain sterile conditions.

Candidates should graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program and hold CPR certification, with 0–2 years of related clinical experience. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions for operations.
• Tend to the patient during pre-operation procedures and follow hospital regulations.
• Perform pre-operation preparations to the patient’s skin, body, and equipment.
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile equipment for proper function.
• Prepare patients for surgery by prepping incision sites and transferring to the operating room.
• Assist with sterile gowns, gloves, and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons, hold retractors, and help count supplies.
• Operate sterilizers, lights, suction machines, and assist with diagnostic equipment.
• Transfer patients to recovery and restock the operating room after procedures.
