Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses. You will participate in pre-op prep, set up sterile instruments, and assist during surgeries to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, tending to the patient pre- and post-operation, and collaborating with the surgical team. CPR certification with 0–2 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred but not required.
• Must be CPR certified with 0–2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating room by setting up instruments, drapes, and supplies.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures and assist surgical team.
• Prepare patient skin and equipment for procedures.
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile gear.
• Get patients ready for surgery and transport to operating room.
• Observe vitals, assist with gowns and gloves, and pass instruments.
• Help prepare, count supplies, and dispose of specimens for lab analysis.
