Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Colorado. You will assist surgeons, nurses, and staff by preparing equipment, maintaining sterile fields, and passing instruments during procedures.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited surgical technologist program, holds Basic Life Support certification, and may have 0–2 years OR experience. This position offers on-site work in a hospital setting with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent training.
• Prefer 1-2 years clinical OR related field experience; may accept 0-2 years.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the sterile field with instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assistants during procedures.
• Assists with patient positioning, transfers, and skin prep as needed.
• Performs decontamination, sterilization, and room turnover.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and safety standards.

Education

Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program

1-2 years clinical experience in operating room setting or related field

Basic Life Support certification
