Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a surgical technologist to assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.

Responsibilities include preparing instruments, setting up the operating room, tending to the patient during pre-operation procedures, transporting patients to the OR, and maintaining a sterile environment. CPR certification is required, with 0-2 years of related clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions before operations.
• Assists the surgical team during procedures and ensures sterile technique.
• Transfers patients to the operating room, positions them, and covers incision sites with drapes.
• Counts sponges, needles, and instruments and helps care for specimens.
