Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, seeks Surgical Technologists to support sterile technique and instrumentation across Level I/II roles. You will prepare ORs, assist surgeons, perform counts, and help care for patients from infancy to geriatrics under RN direction.

Levels I–II require program accreditation, NCCT/ NBSTSA certification, and basic BLS. Relocation assistance and a $10,000 commitment bonus are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or holds an accredited Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT NBSTSA).
• Evidence of successful completion of a Surgical Technology training program in the United States Military is acceptable.
• BLS certification is required at Level I/II.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain sterile field and ensure sterile environment.
• Prepare operating room with instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Assist surgeon during procedures and manage counts of sponges, needles and instruments.
• Support preop and postop patient care in both OR and ambulatory settings.
