Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room with multiple shift options.

Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments, preparing the OR, and assisting the surgical team. Candidates should have an accredited Surgical Technology program or NBSTSA/NCCT certification, with Level I/II experience as noted. Relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or certified (NCCT/NBSTSA).
• US Military training in Surgical Technology accepted.
• Level I: 0–18 months experience; Level II: 6–12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and ensure sterile environment.
• Pass instrumentation safely and perform counts accurately.
• Prepare OR with instrumentation and supplies.
• Assist surgeon and team during procedures; adapt to changing needs.
• Rotate shifts and adapt to ambulatory responsibilities as required.
