Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist at Duke Raleigh Hospital to support sterile technique and instrumentation for a range of surgical cases. The role includes maintaining a sterile field, preparing the OR, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

The position offers full-time shifts (4 x 10s or 3 x 12s) with opportunities for advancement to Level II within 18 months; BLS certification is required and relocation options may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or holds NCCT/NBSTSA certification.
• Or evidence of completion of an appropriate Surgical Technology training program in the United States Military.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains sterile field.
• Assists in preparing the operating room with instrumentation and supplies.
• Passes instruments safely and maintains counts.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and instrumentation for cases.
