Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support direct and indirect surgical care. You will assist surgeons, prepare sterile fields, and mentor staff while participating in case setup and turnover. This role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and patient safety across diverse procedures.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Preparation for surgeon specific operative/invasive procedures that’s timely, accurate effective and efficient.
• Scrubs on simple to complex procedures for a variety of specialties.
• Plans, anticipates and provides for expected and unexpected intra-op events.
• Communicates and collaborates with others.
