Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification: BLS (AHA) within 30 days.
• Associate's degree or certificate in surgical technology.
• Accepts new grads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with accurate instrument setup.
• Ensure sterile field is established and maintained.
• Scrub in and assist during cases, adapting to surgeon preferences.
• Precept new techs and students as needed.
• Assist in case turnover and dressing applications.
• Maintain situational awareness for intra-op events and patient safety.
