The position emphasizes timely, accurate preparation, scrubbing, and instrument turnover, with the potential for on-call duties as needed across shifts.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon specific operative procedures with timely, accurate setup.
• Set up sterile field and scrubbed before patient enters the room.
• Run back table and mayo setup; ensure items available as needed.
• Anticipate case needs and adjust supplies to surgeon preferences.
• Precept and mentor staff and students for surgical cases.
• Assist in case closing activities and turnover.
