Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration is required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Minimum 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensures equipment and instruments are in good working order; assists with patient positioning and draping.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery and accounts for instruments and supplies.
