UCHealth UCHlth Eye Center AMC in Aurora, CO is seeking a certified surgical technologist for a full-time, onsite role. You will perform foundational scrub duties, support instrumentation needs, and assist with surgeon preference cards across service lines.

The position requires CST credentials and BLS/CPR, with a schedule of Days and 80 hours per pay period. Pay ranges from $27.61 to $41.41 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program or an Associate’s degree.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Performs first scrub role independently in multiple service lines.
• Maintains instrument sets and perioperative supplies; assists with surgeon’s preference cards.
• Precepts other staff in the scrub role and enforces sterile technique.
• Ensures medication safety on the surgical field and accurate counts.
