Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center's endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, obtain specimens, help physicians with instruments, and manage room setup and teardown between cases.

You will reprocess endoscopes, assist with instrument handling, and serve as a resource for department equipment. The role offers multiple shift options, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shifts, with sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Qualifications

• Cares for patient care activities in the endoscopy suite.
• Demonstrates infection control principles and sterile technique.
• Works as part of the endoscopy team to prepare and assist in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organization and coordination of supplies and equipment.
• Document patient data per standards and guidelines.
• Reprocess endoscopes and assist with instrument handling.
• Provide care within scope under RN direction.
• Assist with specimen collection and transport.
