Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center and endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, obtain specimens, and help with instrument setup and room turnover between cases. Reprocessing of endoscopes and technical equipment support are included in the role.

Multiple shifts are available, with 8-, 9-, and 10-hour options to fit your schedule. A sign-on bonus and relocation bonus are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Proficient in infection control principles and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication with team members and patients.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology and pharmacology for perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplies and equipment to maintain an efficient department.
• Document patient data accurately in records.
• Maintain asepsis and sterile environment.
• Assist in procedures and with instrument setup.
• Reprocess endoscopes and assist with instrument cleaning.
