Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center and endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, instrument handling, specimens, and room setup/teardown between cases, while reprocessing endoscopes and supporting sterile technique.

Choose from multiple shifts, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour options. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to qualified candidates, with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology certificate required.
• CER certification within 18 months; BLS within 30 days.
• Excellent communication and aseptic technique; strong team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with instruments and setup/teardown between cases.
• Reprocess endoscopes and maintain sterile environment.
• Prepare and stock procedure rooms; assist with specimens and data collection.
• Document patient information per unit guidelines; support RN and team.
