Geisinger is offering a Surgical Technologist a $7,500 hiring incentive, starting salary of $25.00 per hour with higher rates for experienced staff, and up to $5 per hour shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends. The role includes extensive surgical support, aseptic technique, and participation in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification required unless exempt under PA Act 80.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Full-time role with 36 hours per week, day/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures and coordinate treatments with other disciplines.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare instrument tables.
• Document supplies, specimens and counts during operations.
• Assist with patient transport, dressing changes and post-procedure care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and act as a preceptor for students.
