Job summary

Ascension Health is hiring for a cardiovascular surgery support role at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day-shift position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires BLS within 30 days of hire.

You will assist the sterile suite, prepare instruments, and support the surgical team to maintain safety and efficiency. Experience in cardiovascular surgery is preferred; options include a high school diploma with experience or an associate/technical

• Provide essential clinical support during patient transport, draping, and intraoperative hemostasis.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

License / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:

• 1 year of Cardiovascular surgery experience
