Job summary

Ascension is hiring for a Cardiac Cath Lab role at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, day-shift position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with comprehensive health benefits and professional growth opportunities.

You will drive outcomes in complex cardiovascular cases, monitor hemodynamics, and support safe patient care through sterile protocols and patient education.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire date; accepted by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• CCI credentialed invasive specialist or electrophysiology technologist credential required before hire.
• ALS & PALS preferred per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical outcomes by assisting in analysis, diagnosis, and treatment of complex cardiovascular cases.
• Master real-time physiological monitoring and intra-procedural testing, including hemodynamic calculations and cardiac output.
• Anticipate physician needs and procedural shifts to ensure seamless transitions and proactive patient care.
• Lead sterile environment protocols, managing room setup, asepsis, infection control, and safety.
• Educate patients on post-procedure recovery, site care, and activity guidelines.

Education

BLS Provider within 1 Month

CCI Cardiovascular Credentialing International credential

Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
