Job summary

Carle Health in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons, prepare sterile fields, and support operative and invasive procedures. You’ll mentor staff, train students, and coordinate case flow while maintaining patient safety and efficiency in the operating room.

Candidates should have an associate degree or certificate in surgical technology and valid BLS certification, with new grads encouraged to apply. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Education: Associates degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology.
• Work Experience: Accepts New Grads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures timely, accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub in before the case.
• Run mayo table and organize back table for team members.
• Collaborate with the surgeon to anticipate case needs.
• Precept and mentor scrub techs and RNs as needed.
• Assist with case closing activities and turnover.

Education

Associates degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology
