Job summary

You will assist with positioning, counts, specimens, and room turnover. The role requires CST certification or AST/NCCT equivalency, BLS CPR, and the ability to take call shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Surgical Technologist program or CST credential.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to take call shifts and work in a fast-paced OR.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs, gowns and gloves; maintains aseptic technique.
• Passes instruments and assists surgeons and nurses during procedures.
• Counts sponges, sharps and instruments with nursing staff.
• Prepares wound dressings and handles specimens.
• Assists with patient positioning and OR turnover.
