Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technologist Program and/or CST designation (AST/NCCT).
• CPR certification required at hire.
• Ability to take call shifts as assigned.
• High school graduation or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and assist by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field.
• Count sponges, needles, instruments; manage specimens with nurse.
• Assist with patient positioning and wound dressing; ensure equipment readiness.
• Adhere to aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout procedures.
• Support OR quality initiatives and maintain readiness for emergencies.
